Daddy!
It's been a running joke in the McLure household how handsome I think Kirk Herbstreit is. Sometimes, I tell the boys to call him daddy and they look at me completely confused and bewildered. But today, as Gameday came on the tube, Reed saw him and shouted 'daddy!' and pointed at him with a sheepish smile. Cracked me up!

Ripe for the pickin
Today, the boys had an early bday party at their neighborhood buddy, Charlie's, house. Then, we picked them up and headed to Ellijay to pick some fresh apples, watch pig races, jump on bouncy stuff, pet farm animals, but mainly to get some apple cider and apple cider donuts! And unless you come to my house in the next 24 hours, all 2 dozen of them will have been consumed!! Ah, fall!! (and donuts ☺)

Class Act
We enrolled the boys in a climb & gym class at Lifetime and yesterday was their first experience. They got to climb the big rock wall and then play a bunch of games in the gym. They said they loved it and can't wait to go back!!

Helmet Head
Apparently, it's very dangerous to brush your teeth, so Reed is taking extra precautions! What's next, full football pads in the bath?!? Crazy kids!

It's kickin' time
Soccer actually started last week, but being that we were coming home from the beach, we obviously didn't make it. So, today was their first day to take the field! They were so excited we even left early so we could see the younger kids play their games. There definitely is more competition this season and the boys found that out very quickly. But, the biggest challenge of the day was met and Reed played just as much as everyone else!!! Great job boys!!

So long, Seagrove
As we head home to our respective places of residence, a great big thank you goes out to Jammy and Grandy for yet, another fabulous beach trip!
The boys got one more bike ride before we hitched their bikes to the top of our car, our sights set for home.
Thank you to Seagrove and the Gulf of Mexico for making our trip do memorable!!

Don't wanna go home!
Today was our last day at the beautiful beaches of Seagrove. Oh, how we'll miss it so! We've had fun playing in the sand, ocean, pool, on bikes, on foot, with the Perry's, and family, and even in the rain. What an awesome vacation it's been!

Beach-a-versary
Tonight we celebrated Larry and Jemmay's 48th wedding anniversary with surf and turf overlooking our view of the ocean. 48 years! Wow! With only a day left at the beach, we're getting ready to settle back into reality...sadly! Why can't life always be a day at the beach?!? Happy anniversary, Jammy and Grandy!

Rain, rain, go away
What is there to do at the beach on a rainy day? Well, if you're close to Panama City Beach, you go to Ripley's Believe it or Not museum, check out all the crazy and gross stuff there, then go to the 4-D movie at the end. Then, you mosey on over to Pineapple Willie's for a little lunch on the beach! All in the rain. THEN, the next day, take a nice long bike ride...yep, in the rain. Lovin' life right now :0)

Beachin' it
Saturday, we made our yearly trek to the beach with Jammy and Grandy. It would have been a decent drive had we not decided to give them 16 ounce sodas/lemonades 2 hours away from our destination. We stopped for them to empty their bladders 4 times in 30 minutes!!! Lesson learned.
Other than that, we've been having a great time. The boys have taken to their bikes like I would have never believed! We go for hour long bike rides in the morning, beach after that, then pool, dinner and then more bike rides. This morning when I asked Nolan what he wanted to do today, he said "ride our bikes all over town?"
