Doctors and bingo

Yesterday, I took Reed to his annual ENT appointment. Every appointment for the last year or so we've been watching a hole that hadn't grown back together in his eardrum since his tubes came out. Usually, the doc says, everything looks ok, let's keep an eye on it and see you back in 6 months. This time, however, she noticed quite a bit of wax (which she had to excavate) to see he had an ear infection and the hole still hadn't closed up. We got a quick laugh when the nurse took his temperature in his ear and the nozzle of the thermometer got stuck momentarily! Quite the waxy kid! Anyhow, she's recommending to patch the ear hole at the end of the summer...ugh, never ending ear problems! But he still knows how to have fun in the drs office!
Later that night, Arnold Mill had their annual bingo event. We didn't walk way with any big prizes but had a bunch of fun with friends!

The kick is up--and it's good

One of the many gifts the boys received for Christmas, the boys really enjoy these goal posts they picked out with their target gift cards. This might be the only position I'd consider letting them play on a football team...kicker! We'll see....

To be sick or not to be...

Today, Nolan told us that his tummy hurt and that he felt like he was going to throw up. Seeing as there has been a lot of viruses going around, I would have felt like a horrible parent if I sent him to school and then he yaked. He stayed home with Todd to 'rest' and get well. He laid down for a little while keeping a bucket close, just in case.
Later on that morning, he was using his barf bucket as a basketball goal. He also spent some time being a dog...

Last days of winter break

Apparently, the McLure house has been uber busy the past week but we have no specific events to speak of!
Instead, I decided it was time to post pictures of the last few days of the boys winter break. We went to another UGA basketball game, played indoor black light putt-putt, and the boys wear their skates like shoes. That's pretty much all!
