Maybe you would think that we sat around and watched tv....or played a ton of video games until our eyes bulged out of our heads...or ate potato chips and bubble gum while our teeth and stomachs ached? I mean, it was a day off from school and aren't those the things you do?!?
Not this bunch! We started off going to the gym where the boys did their rendition of the Charlie brown football kick. They were in there an hour and a half while I ran and killed myself at yoga sculpt (laugh now, but it was dang hard!).
Then, after some errands and lounging around...the boys learned to ride their big boys bikes!!!! It was quite an exciting time for all of us, especially them, because no way shape or form were there training wheels present! The picked it up in about 30 minutes and before we knew it, they were riding up and down the street without ANY help!!! They were so proud of themselves and so were we. Amazing!
After all that, we went out for a tasty pizza dinner and then on to cheer on RHS football! It was the season opener so the stadium was packed. The boys didn't care as long as they got to see the game. Reed looked over at one point and said,"daddie, I wish Ryan Lotche was here!" Um, sorry Reed but I'm pretty sure a gold winning Olympic swimmer has a lot better to do with his time than go to a high school football game! So freaking funny! They really didn't want to go home, but at 9pm and still beach packing to do, we bid Ray Manus stadium adieu, but I'm pretty sure we'll be back!
(sorry, the photos are a bit out of order!)
