Let the good times roll

Yesterday, I took the boys and Ryan and Julia Martin out for a day of summer time fun. Well, the weather didn't look like it was going to cooperate if we did outside activities (and I sprained my ankle at tennis the other night), so we found a few other indoor options to persue. We started at Sparkles roller rink and they skated until they couldn't skate no more! Or until they fell down so many times they had a hard time sitting. Reed and Nolan like using the granny walkers but by the end of the session, Reed wasn't using his anymore!
Then it was lunchtime and we tried a new place ala groupon...of course! The Georgia Rib Company is in the old Marietta ice skating center and off the beaten path. We were the only ones in the restaurant, which kinda scared me, but it turned out to be awesome! The burgers the kids ordered were bigger than their heads! The photo below doesn't do it justice, but look at the regular sized crayon next to the plate. Reed took down his whole burger but didn't like the Mac-n-cheese, and the rest of us could only stomach half. Crazy!

We rounded out the day at the movies to see 'Million Dollar Arm'. They all loved the movie and their fun day with Mommie/Cinny!! There's always more to come, so stay tuned :0)
