Cheeseland, take 2

After fishin', eatin', and footballin', the Ondresky's took us to a nature center close by to check a HUGE item off of my bucket list. Snow dog sledding! This lovely group of people rescue huskies from shelters and train them to race in packs. The kids got to sit on the bigger sled while the pups ran around the track and I got to drive one of the smaller teams. It was awesome!!
Nolan was so cute holding Morgan's hand! Wait, it may have been the other way around, I'm sure Morgan was the one holding Nolan up through the snow.

Then, we took some time to do some snow shoeing. This was totally awesome because it made it easier to talk on the snow without falling  knee deep into it. How cool! The boys took turns pulling Owen in the pull behind sled. Morgan had some snow shoes of her own and she was rocking them!
And then Morgan laid down in the snow... for fun...on her own accord...with no gloves on, because she's Ashley's daughter and totally crazy like her momma!

We 'shoed' out to a tower and climbed the 5 stories of stairs to the top to get a birds eye view of the flat, farm surroundings. It was quite peaceful and serene.

Like that wasn't enough fun for one day, Ash took us to 'the hill' in Neenah, yes, there's 1 and we took to some wicked sledding.
I didn't take too many pics here because I was too busy sledding, hitting ramps, wrestling Nolan, and tripping Ashley who tried to race me going up the hill. Doesn't she know better? I can't beat her in a foot race, so I tripped her. It's what I do. LoL😂

The last day we went to another bigger hill a bit further away where they have an actual ski lift and a great big tubing hill. Now, that was some fun!! Unfortunately, at the bottom of the hill was a nice slushy mess of some form of brown water and we did everything we could to avoid it. Thankfully, the boys didn't slop through it until the end of our session when it was time to go in and change their wet clothes. They loved it!
Wisconsin, thank you for an awesome time!! We will be back again for round 2 if you can promise the weather will be like it was that weekend. The highs were around 28-32, which is great because the highs a week later were in the mid-teens. Ouch!
